World of Lingerie is founded in the year 2005 by Sven Bork and Dennis Hoffert in Norderstedt. In 2007 the company moved to Hamburg because storage rooms and offices are too small in Norderstedt. 2008 Strumpfmode24 was relaunched. Since 2010 World of Lingerie is a trademark of the Glamory GmbH & Co. KG and pulls back to Norderstedt in a 400qm office with showroom. In October 2010 was the most significant and innovative re-launch of the online store.
